Gay activists plan to test the law barring homosexuals from openly serving in the armed forces.

Gay activists are planning to visit military recruiting centers over the next few months to sign up for active duty, revealing their homosexuality in an effort to challenge the armed services’ “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy.

Soulforce, an advocate for special rights for gays, is calling the effort the Right to Serve campaign.
