Congressional Scorecard Reports Pro-Family Votes

Focus on the Family Action and FRC Action scored how lawmakers voted on key bills during the 109th Congress.

Amanda Banks, federal policy analyst for Focus on the Family Action, called the 2006 Vote Scorecard a “great resource.”

“It highlights the most clear-cut, telling pro-family votes taken this year in both the House and Senate,” she said. “Each member’s score is an instructive measure of their pro-family integrity.”

The Scorecard rates members of both chambers concerning taxpayer-funded embryonic stem-cell research; preventing the transport of minor girls across state lines for abortion to avoid state parental-involvement laws; and the Marriage Protection Amendment.
